Program: Create a new 6,000 square foot, 2 story mixed use building with mezzanine levels that maximizes the industrial zoning of Seattle.
Design: This building has 3 levels of adaptable commercial space to house multiple tenants or a single tenant. The top floor has a one bedroom residential ‘Caretakers Cottage’, with full kitchen & bath, and an expansive front and rear deck with mountain views. The remainder of the top floor and mezzanine levels are dedicated office space with tall ceiling, views, and operable windows for cross ventilation. The lower levels have large roll-up garage doors for shop space, parking, or storage. The interior stairwell located in the middle of the building minimizes wasted hallway space and provides access to all the interior spaces.
