Program: Create a recirculating pond and stream system utilizing an existing spring. Terrace the steep slope and create useable lawn terraces for entertaining.

Design: This property already had an exposed spring about the size of your finger that flows constantly. We have temporarily harnessed this water source into a recirculating stream system. A series of outdoor rooms are framed by the moving water, and plant material is used to form walls and give the spaces a unique shape. Stone bridges allow a continuous pathway along a discovery of different outdoor room surprises.

Ducks and wildlife have taken up permanent residence here. The landscape offers a variety of habitat for birds, butterflies, and bees.

Materials include large granite boulders, some that were reused from the site, montana fieldstone, and a native landscape.
