Program: Create a natural park for Albertville citizens to enjoy music in a park like amphitheater, place for kids to jump and play on a playground, walking trails, pavilions, a meadow to play in, and an area where families can gather to cook out on the grill. This should be a natural park where individuals to come together as a whole and celebrate the history of Albertville, through active and passive recreation.

Design: We used the assets of this donated land which is about half wooded and half open meadow in a way to minimize any grading and tree removal. We carefully sited the 100 car, paved parking area between the existing trees and access road.

We designed a pavilion and arbor structure that could be easily built by the Boy Scouts earning their badges, by using easy to find, short spans of dimensional lumber, all nailed and bolted together.
